NOW THATS A VERY GOOD IDEA BUT THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THOUGH GEORGE IS GOING TO BE AT EARLS COURT UNLESS WE GET THERE BEFORE HE LEAVES HOME THEN HE CAN DO A PRIVATE CONCERT FOR US IN HIS OWN HOME LOL!!! CUCKOO CUCKOO

HI EVERYONE I KNOW THE FORUMS ARE ALL MEETING UP AT THE TOURNAMENT PUB JUST ACROSS FROM OLD BROMPTON TUBE STATION RIGHT NEXT TO EARLS COURT BEFORE AND AFTER THE SHOW A SEPERATE ROOM HAS BEEN BOOKED IT HOLDS I THINK 150 AND HE IS GETTING A EXTENSION ON HIS LICENCE ALL WELCOME THE MORE THE MERRIER I WILL BE THERE ON THE 25TH XXXX IM STAYIN AT THE IBIS ANYONE ELSE THERE

ive emailed the person organising that event and am waiting on a reply.
seing as how teh late license has been applied for it seems daft to try and organise another pub in same area.
will post more when i hear back

IVE HAD A REPLY AND SHES SORTING OUT WITH THE PUB OWNER ABOUT US POSSIBLY TAKING OUR PARTY OVER WITH THEM SO NUMBERS NEED CHECKING WITH THE LANDLORD ETC.
AS SOON AS SHE GETS BACK TO ME ILL POST MORE.

Hi guys!

Right, i ahve spoken to the Manager today and he is applying for the late license tomorrow and should hear back about it in 10 days. He is 95% sure it will go through without a hitch but he will keep in touch with me if anything happens.

If we do get the late license then the bar will close at 1am and we have about half an hour or so after that to make our way out.

He said that the George Michael look-a-like was too expensive BUT he did say that they will put a sign outside letting everyone from the forum know where to go (as the function room is upstairs) so we will have our own area.

I need to find out which entrance Earls Court are using for the show as The Tournament bar is directly outside one of the entrances and about a 3 minute walk from the other entrance. I will call Earls Court and try to find out tomorrow.

He also reccommended gettin goff at West Brompton Tube station which is directly over the road from The Tournament. If any of you are getting off at another location let me know and I will get directions for you

Lastly, I received an e-mail from www.yogsbackyard.com and the members from that site also want to join in with this meet up and they reckon there will be about 20-30 of them. SO ITS GONNA BE A BIG PARTY!! WOO HOO. Our list is up to 53 and with the guys from yogsbackyard that will take us up to about 80!! (FYI the capacity of the venue is 120 so all is good).

I will let you know as soon as i receive confirmation of the late license
