Okay I'll just get the ball rolling then.......
Sorry to start off on a downer but.....
Just been phoned this lunchtime by HP to ask me to attend a mass meeting at the plant to hear what my phone and the local news has been telling me all morning.
Namely that we are all being sold down the river and our jobs are to got to Eastern Europe.
Apparently having made $1.4 Billion US in the first quarter this year the greedy feckers have decided it is not enough and the time is right to blame the world recession for their unending corporate greed and move all production to where there are little employment laws and even littler pay packets......
They call this progress apparently, we know it simply as redundancy.nonono

Hi All,

I have already spoke to Ken about his bad news & he knows I am thinking of him etc

But Jeff I have to disagree with you, for the most part we live in a FANTASTIC world & it aint coz I on holiday!!  Im home, unpacked (to a small degree) & my poor body clock is all over the shop lol but its a beautiful day out & well no jeff I dont hate the world i live in, I think its pretty sweet!!!

HOpe everyone got some weekend sunshine & if you like had a Bank Hoiliday weekend that you where out getting some of the recommended Vitamin D smile

Right im off outside again to enjoy the crystal clear blue skies & finish off the last of my holidays reads.......................
