George, I have no idea if you'll ever read those lines, but that's the only place where I can thank you.
I am the french girl with a cancer who you sent flowers to. First I am sorry if I reminded you of a very hard moment of your life. And I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for you know how cancer can kill someone's personnality. Cancer killed me, killed my inner self. I fight hard sometimes to get back to the real me, the funny and enthouastic me. But with so much fatigue and hopeless fight, it is often impossible. There are only some very peculiar things that are strong enough to help me be the whole me again. Your music is one those rare things. Your voice and your music have always taken me to a pleasant place, all those years they've always been with me. Receiving those flowers from you has taken me out of a bad day. It's like you sent me your voice hmming a tune to bring me back to happiness whenever I loose myself. Look at the flowers - feel good. Look at the flowers - remember when you were not ill, remember who you are.
You know? Well, I know that you know. That I know that you know that I know. You know? ;) Keep on singin George, never stop.
Steph that is so beautifully put. Remember the moment and take strength from it. We are all behind you wishing you all the best. We have all followed your story with great interest and were delighted that a result was finally achieved.
Try and find the time to come into the chat room when you have the strength and we will all try and cheer you up and support you along your journey to rediscover yourself.
