CHRISTMAS 2009 FUNDRAISING RAFFLE

So its almost xmas again and as we all decided earlier in the year to raise some money for the Great Ormond Street Childrens Charity i guess its time to start off the proceedings.

Firstly i need to explain a few things.

This year is going to be our last fundraising event as its getting too complicated with uk laws changing all the time and lifting the barriers on raising money for charity.
The legalities of such is mindblowingly numbing so i wont bore you all with it...

This year we had problems with paypals rules as well so we have had to do things seemingly different  :roll:  :roll:  :roll:  :roll:

This year when you go to the website to buy tickets and donate to the charity you will notice there is NO mention of the raffle on the given page....Dont worry about that as its just a way round some of the problems we have faced.
The webpage will show you a set of 3 postcards priced at £5 a set.

If you want to be in the raffle draw you must goto the page and purchase the postcards.
From there on in everything else is as it has always been.
You will recieve an email from Sam as soon as shes able and you will recieve your eticket/tickets etc etc.
There is an option on the paypal link to simply donate the money to the charity fundraiser and NOT recieve the postcards.
EVERYONE who has joined in with us on the party packs Will be recieving the postcards in their packs as part of the packs,so PLEASE click the simply donate option when buying your tickets/postcards.
For those of you who didnt join in with party packs but does buy a ticket you can have a set of the postcards by clicking on that option.We will send postcards out in late nov/early dec should anyone require them.

If this confuses anyone at all (DINA) then please contact me about it.

This has been the easiest way around our problems and im sure you'll all work it out.....

Okay then the prizes .....

Well this year i thought we would play it differently and build up the excitement gradually... lol

The main FIRST prize is still with George awaiting his signature so until i get that back from him i will be keeping it under wraps ...all i will say is that its FANTASTIC !!!!!!!

The second prize will be an exclusive piece of George merchandise ....to be announced later.

The third prize is an official piece of George merchandise .... to be announced later.


As well as the main prize you will also recieve a special George michael mug .. donated by the lovely debs at www.giftwizard.co.uk

As well as that i will donate a 10" x 8" mounted print from my website for you to enjoy.
There may also be some other little tidbits added in with the prizes as we go along.

If we manage to reach the illusive £1000 for the charity then i will personally add in some more prizes as a huge thank you to everyone.

To try n raise the amount raised ive also set up a set of 3 postcards of my own New York photographs for anyone whos interested in helping us raise more but without entry into our George Michael raffle...i.e friends and family who'd like to help out.

just to let you all know.
the £1150 has just been paid into the great ormond street hospital childrens charity.

i will of course post the thank you letter and certificate as soon as recieve them.
