Hi, I'm Susan, one of George's 'Downunder Lovelies' and I thought this special section for all the Aussies and Kiwis needed a kick start!
We are a very patient lot, 'Downunder'!
From September, 2006, through an Arena and a Stadium Tour around Europe and a USA Tour we waited very, very patiently for the announcement of an Australian Tour. Finally, after keeping the 'Faith' for 22 years our patience was rewarded and our prayers answered and all our hopes and dreams became reality when George played an amazing 3 concerts in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne in February/March, 2010!
We were also blessed with his presence in Sydney and Melbourne for several weeks after the Tour while he enjoyed a well earned rest. While most of us respected his privacy, it was nice every so often to see a pic of him out and about soaking up the delights of these beautiful cities!
The press even dubbed him an honorary Sydneysider....... our very own adopted member of pop royality!
So now we wait again! This time I'm confident that George will bring Symphonica, 'Downunder'. Hopefully, Australia will be slotted in somewhere around April, 2012.
George is only warming up at the moment, his Lovelies, Downunder, know he will keep the best for last, even if I say so myself!
